It has taken four years to make, and at last the second series of A Perfect Planet is nearly here! We are pleased to announce that the extraordinary critically endangered wild camels will feature in the ‘weather’ episode of Sir David Attenborough’s A Perfect Planet television series.
The wild camels were filmed during their mating season which is during the coldest time of the year when temperatures in Mongolia and China are -40 Celsius. Sir David Attenborough will be talking about how weather is vital for life, and to preserve species like these, we must act now.
This episode will be shown on Sunday, 17th January at 8pm on BBC1 in the UK. A Perfect Planet will also be shown in 23 other countries.
Nigelle de Visme says
I was immensely moved by the Behind the Scenes segment of the Last Wild Camels last night. To see these magnificent animals against the true splendour of their background will remain unforgettable.
